You Write The Headlines . . .

Recommended Posts

If you've got some time on your hands, have a go at writing a "Latest News" DL Headline for one or more of the listees. I know we have one or two hacks onboard, so it should be a no-brainer for them. No prizes for the best ones and no guarantee that they will ever be used, or even read by GR. The only other rule is you can't write one for Clive Dunn for 2 reasons. 1 - His name says it all and 2 - He's immortal.

Have fun.

One of the rules was you CAN'T choose one for Dunny.

Dom Mintoff = "The lighter way to enjoy death" (as he's a Malteser) is my only humble offering.

Ernest Gallo - the wrath of grapes

The winner by a long way thus far.

I like that one, and also "Di Stefano taken down in the box".

And the funeral march goes:

Dunn Dunn Der-Dunn, Dunn Der-Dunn, Der-Dunn, Der Dunn.

Man, he's more fun than the other 49 we've got to go at.

I haven't read all the previous suggestions, but the two that I suggested earlier were

Charlton Heston: I guess we can take the gun now...

Charles Lane: "Lane" to rest

Perhaps more later when I review this thread.

I know there are enough kinky folk here to get these.

If Dom Mintoff is murdered then we could have "Dom topped" or if he decide to replace him in next year's list "Dom subbed".

The only other I can come up with is "Thatch dispatched"
